Using the Generator

The charades generator, its category and difficulty filters, and its optional round timer are free to use for personal, family, educational, or commercial event purposes (for example, at a paid party-planning gig or a corporate team-building session). There is no account required, no usage limit, and no fee. You may use the tool as many times as you like, in any setting where charades is appropriate.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the site in ways that would harm it or other visitors. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure
• Scraping the word bank at high volume in a way that degrades service for other visitors
• Using the site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content through the feedback form
• Misrepresenting your identity to abuse the anonymous feedback channel
• Reverse engineering the site with intent to republish it as a near-identical competing product without adding meaningfully original content or value

The Word Bank and Content

The words and phrases in the generator (see the homepage's "What's Inside the Word Bank" section) are our own hand-picked selection, written specifically for this site. The site's design, copy, and code are also our own work. You are welcome to reference or link to charadesgenerator.xyz freely. Wholesale copying of the word bank or site copy for republication elsewhere without meaningful transformation or attribution is not permitted.

No Account, No Guarantee of Availability

Because there is no account system, we have no way to guarantee any specific individual's continued access, and we make no promise that the site will be available at all times without interruption. We aim to keep the tool online and working, but as with any free web tool, occasional downtime for maintenance, hosting issues, or unforeseen circumstances can happen without advance notice.

"As Is" Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

This tool is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. We are a small, free party-game tool - we do not warrant that the word bank is error-free, that the difficulty ratings will match every player's personal sense of difficulty, or that the round timer will be perfectly accurate to the millisecond on every device. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) this site, including but not limited to a disappointing game night.

Feedback and Suggestions

If you submit feedback, a word suggestion, or a bug report through the feedback form, you grant us the right to use that suggestion to improve the site - for example, adding a suggested word to the bank - without any obligation to compensate you or credit you individually. See our privacy policy for how feedback submissions are handled from a data standpoint.

Age and Content Appropriateness

Every word in the generator is written to be family-friendly and suitable for players of all ages, including the Hard difficulty tier. There is no separate "adult" content mode. If you use this tool with children, no additional filtering is required beyond the built-in category and difficulty selectors.

Where this site links to outside resources, those sites are outside our control and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Following an external link is done at your own discretion.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally as the site evolves - for example, if we add a new feature that changes how the tool works. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree with a change, the appropriate response is to stop using the site. See our cookie policy for how the site's minimal local storage is handled, which is unaffected by most terms updates.

Third-Party Services We Rely On

To keep this site fast, free, and secure, it runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure (hosting, content delivery, and the cookieless analytics described in our privacy policy) and its email-forwarding service (used only to route the optional feedback form and the contact address below). Using this site means your requests pass through that infrastructure the same way they would for any modern website. We do not control Cloudflare's own terms of service, which apply independently to its role as our infrastructure provider.
